When it comes down it it, we have just, and I mean just over 3 months left here in HK. Of that, only 2 months left in our apartment. We are giving notice on 31 March and moving out 30 April, then become homeless for a month.
We are now in shipping mode. We brought 2 boxes of stuff; mostly clothes and books, to the post office today. To ship a box that weighs 12.5 kg (27.5 lbs) by air is USD$141, to ship the box by boat it was USD$65. The boat won - and so our stuff will start to arrive at my mom's in about 6-8 weeks. We figured that anything that is getting packed up now and shipped, we won't need for a while.
The above picture is just another 3 boxes of stuff that has Gabby's clothes, books and the Terracotta Warriors we got in Xi'an. Crazy, Crazy Crazy ... I can't believe that it's almost over.
