We have made it to Atlanta. The trip of non-eventful, which is how you like your long flights to be.
We made a decision early on to surprise my Mom when we came home. We told her that we were flying home on June 1. Gabby told her a small little lie as to why they couldn't talk on the 31 … and she took it - hook line and sinker! We rang the doorbell, and didn't get an answer. The girls rang it again, then knocked on he door. We waited and waited, and finally, she looked out the window, saw us and was shocked! We pulled it off - She was completely shocked!
The other big news is that Jonathan is starting a new job at Walmart in Bentonville, AR. Jonathan traveled with his job - close to 95% travel in the 10 yrs he worked with the company. After spending the 2 years with his family in HK, we made a decision that this is really what was best for our family. There was going to be NO guarantee from the company that he was going to travel less. Now, it looks like he will only travel 1-2 times a year rather than every week. Awesome!
We will put the house on the market in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully it sells quickly due to the fact that it has a basement!
